We are a class of brilliant 6 year olds at Eastern Hutt School in Lower Hutt, New Zealand. This blog is where we share our learning with everyone. This year we have started with an even number of 10 girls and 10 boys. We love getting messages so make sure you leave a comment for us to read.
A few weeks ago we planted vegetable seeds in our class. At last they have sprouted and we have some butter bean plants, bok choy and carrots. Eddie and Liam have been our wonderful gardening monitors and they took the plants outside each day to get fresh air and sunlight. Our garden is nearly full with the flowering stock and Bassica plants, so we have decided to just plant the bok choy and carrots. We are going to take a bean plant home and look after it carefully. I wonder who will have the tallest bean plant and the most beans?
